Hey there, I’m Kasandra.

I want to share a little bit about my passion for photography with you

It started in high school, where I completed multiple photography classes and ultimately, fell in love with photography. I still remember investing my savings in a $500 beginner friendly camera. Running around taking photos for assignments about lighting and composition, those were the days. After high school and moving to Ottawa, I fell into a group of Ottawa photographers and was constantly shooting around the city working my creative mind. At this point I was that photographer friend that would be there to capture any special occasion for my friends and family. It wasn’t until I started working in a professional field did I break out of my bubble and become a people person.

As I matured, both emotionally and professionally, I decided to let photography be my full time focus. Portraiture started to overlap with weddings and I knew that I found my truest expression of this craft. I became mildly obsessed with turning moments into stunning images that felt like art and I have made capturing the magic of such a meaningful day my specialty, bringing myself and my clients immense joy through every finished gallery.

While my portfolio can only show you a small part of who I am as an artist, I hope you are able to sense the pride I feel in every angle, every look, every detail I am able to capture. 

When we work together for what may feel like only a short period of time, we become long lost friends, your stories become my stories and together, we make magic happen.
